Existing full-time teachers in mathematics College 102 people, including 12 professors, 40 associate professors, 47 lecturers. 4 Ph.D advisors, 45 master instructors,10 experts of "Hundred Talents Program",5 people in provincial teachers of teaching ,5 units in provincial boutique resource sharing class. There are 3 teachers in provincial outstanding young academic leaders, 1 provincial outstanding teachers,1 provincial outstanding teaching team. The college has the mathematics and applied mathematics, the information and computing science, and the statistics three undergraduate majors; has the Biological system dynamics and the data science and technology two secondary doctoral programs; has the mathematics and the statistics two primary master programs; has a mathematical research institute, cloud computing center and other scientific research and teaching units. Currently , there are 821 undergraduates and 142 postgraduate students.

Mathematics and Applied Mathematics

Cultivation Goals:To cultivate the interdisciplinary and applied talents in both mathematics and finance that can master the basic theory and methods of mathematics science and the ability to solve practical problems with the use of mathematical knowledge and computers; by the initial training, students can work as researchers and teachers in the science and technology, securities, banking and education or the comprehensive and specialized personnel to research and manage in the production and management departments; to lay a solid foundation for students who work in mathematics, finance and management .

Cultivation Requirements:(1) A good humanities and social science literacy, a strong sense of social responsibility and good mathematical professional ethics;(2) a relatively solid mathematical foundation and scientific research capabilities, the complete mathematical knowledge system, scientific thinking and mathematical science research methods;(3) a strong ability of mathematical thinking (analytical ability, abstract ability, deductive reasoning ability, etc.), rational mathematical thinking, able to use the norms of mathematical language to express their own ideas with realistic and innovative awareness;(4) the ability to use mathematical knowledge to solve practical problems, especially to solve problems with the establishment of mathematical models; (5) a good economic, financial and management foundation, the ability to apply mathematical knowledge and analyze economic and financial models; (6) proficient in mathematics English, can read and understand the English mathematics documents, also with the team sprites and international vision; (7) skilled use of computer, the ability to write simple procedures and to use literature inspection and modern information technology to obtain information, a sense of self-learning and lifelong learning and the ability for continuous learning and adaptation.

Information and Computing Science

Cultivation Goals: To cultivate specialized high level and complex students that can have a good mathematical literacy, master the basic theory and methods of the data science and engineering calculation, be subject to scientific research and engineering development of the initial training, and be competent in science and technology, education and economy departments that are engaged in high-performance computing and large data analysis related scientific research, teaching, application development and management.

Cultivation Requirements:To systematically learn basic theory ,knowledge and methods of information science, computer science and computational mathematics, have high-performance computing, programming and large-scale data analyzing and processing capabilities, use the knowledge and skills to solve practical problems in the fields of science and technology, economy, management and engineering.

Major Courses:mathematical analysis, higher algebra, probability theory, mathematical statistics, data structure, numerical analysis, computer hardware foundation, high-level language programming, database theory and its application, high-performance computing programming, intelligent computing, statistical learning, Model, large database technology, CUDA architecture and high-performance computing.

Statistics

Cultivation Goals:To cultivate students with good mathematical and statistical literacy, the basic theory and methods of modern statistics, the skilled use of computer analysis and data processing. After graduation, students can do the statistical investigation, information management, data analysis, risk assessment and other applications and research in the enterprise, financial industry and government departments, or engage in teaching and research in related fields.

Cultivation Requirements:To cultivate students with the basic theory and methods of mathematics and statistics; a solid and comprehensive knowledge of statistical theory statistical methods to analyze and solve practical problems. Graduates should master the following skills: a solid mathematical foundation with the rigorous mathematical training; the basic theory of statistics and computer application to analyze the data; the economic, financial and other related knowledge to solve everyday problems with the use of statistical theory and methods; a variety of mathematical software and statistical analysis software for a strong statistical computing power; a foreign language with a strong listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation ability.
