Research area: the preparation and transportation of hydrogen energy and the synthesis of high value carbon-based chemicals/oils
Professor Ma received his PhD from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Oxford University /Bristol University. From 2009 to now, he has been working at Peking University. He ever served as deputy editor of Catalysis Science &Technology of the Royal Society of Chemistry from 2014 to 2017. Currently, he is the editorial board member and consultant editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Chemistry, Science Bulletin, Journal of Energy Chemistry, Joule, ACSCatalysis, Catalysis Science &Technology and other journals.
