TYUT Leadership Leads Delegation to Belarus

At the invitation of Professor Viktor Kochin, Vice Rector of Belarusian State University (BSU), a delegation led by Zhan Xiaohong, Vice President for Academic Affairs of TYUT, visited Belarus from June 15 to 18 for cooperative exchanges. The delegation was accompanied by the director of the College of International Education and Exchange. The visit aimed to leverage the platform of the China-Belarus University Alliance to align more closely with the needs of Sino-Belarusian industry-academia-research cooperation, and to comprehensively deepen pragmatic collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific innovation, and cooperative education.

On the evening of June 14, the 2026 Graduation Ceremony of Taiyuan University of Technology was held at the square in front of the library on the Mingxiang Campus.

TYUT Leaders Meet with Delegation Led by Vice Rector Obukhov of Ural Federal University

On the morning of June 5, TYUT held a cooperative education program symposium with Ural Federal University (UrFU) at the Yingxi Campus Conference Center. The visiting delegation from UrFU included Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Obukhov Oleg Vladimirovich, Director of the Department of International Educational Programs (DIEP) Kotieva Yana, DIEP Senior Project Manager Pelymskaya Yelena, and Director of the Ural Power Engineering Institute Sarapulov Sergei. TYUT Vice President for Academic Affairs Yang Xiaowei met with the delegation and attended the symposium, together with representatives from the Department of International Cooperation and the College of Electrical and Power Engineering. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Department of International Cooperation.

TYUT Holds Cooperation and Exchange Symposium with Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology

On June 1, a symposium on cooperation and exchange between TYUT and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) was held at the Yingxi Campus. The symposium was addressed by Dmitry Livanov, Rector of MIPT, and Sun Hongbin, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of TYUT. The symposium was chaired by TYUT Vice President Sang Shengbo. Attendees included the MIPT delegation, representatives from Coway International Techtrans Co., Ltd., and the heads of TYUT’s International Cooperation Department, the College of Electrical and Power Engineering, and the Shanxi Energy Internet Research Institute.
