International students celebrate New Year in Shanxi gala

An international student New Year's gala was held on Friday evening in Jinzhong, Shanxi province, bringing together more than 200 students from 16 countries and regions to perform music, dance and martial arts ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival.

Conference for the Establishment of the International Students Education Alliance in Shanxi Held at TYUT

To further integrate international student education resources within Shanxi province, consolidate collaborative efforts in nurturing talents, and deepen the development of the Study in Shanxi brand, the International Students Education Alliance in Shanxi was established at TYUT on November 12th. Li Jinbi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of Shanxi Provincial Education Department, and Shen Xingquan, Secretary of TYUT Party Committee, attended the conference and delivered speeches. The conference also brought together deputy leaders and heads of departments responsible for international students from 15 universities across the province authorized to enroll international students.

Shen Xingquan and Sun Hongbin Meet with Delegation Led by Vice-Chancellor and President G.Q. Max Lu of University of Wollongong, Australia

On November 2nd and 3rd, Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) received a delegation led by Vice-Chancellor and President G.Q. Max Lu of the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. TYUT Party Committee Secretary Shen Xingquan and President Sun Hongbin met with President Lu respectively, holding friendly discussions on bilateral cooperation.

TYUT Leadership Visits the Embassy of Uruguay in China and Sign Cooperation Agreement with the University of the Republic of Uruguay

To further advance open education and optimize the global cooperation landscape, Vice President Sang Shengbo visited the Embassy of Uruguay in Beijing on October 24th. He held talks with Mariana Seoane, Vice Rector of the University of the Republic of Uruguay (Udelar), and formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding between TYUT and Udelar.
