From June 23 to 27, TYUT’s party secretary Wu Yucheng led a delegation to Kyonggi University, Dankook University, Chosun University and Songwon University.
Wu Yucheng had in-depth exchanges with Kim Rengui, president of Kyonggi University. They discussed the mode and ways of strengthening international exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, and signed cooperation memoranda of agreements which reached the preliminary intention of cooperation in teacher and student exchanges, academic and research cooperation, etc. The two sides will give full play to the geographical advantages of the two countries and carry out substantive cooperation including experts exchange, joint cultivation, scientific research cooperation, academic exchange and student exchange. After the symposium, TYUT’s delegation also visited the gymnasium, art gallery and museum of Kyonggi University.
At Dankook University, Wu had detailed discussions with president Hosting Chang on exchanges and visits of teachers and students, education, discipline construction and sports and cultural exchanges.
At Chosun University, Wu talked with interim president Sung-Geum Hong and signed cooperation memoranda of agreements promoting cooperation in the fields of materials science, biomedical engineering, physics and electrical engineering, welding technology, etc. Afterwards, the delegation visited the national biomedical laboratory of Korea learning about the latest research results on Alzheimer's Syndrome, and the library learning about its staff management and functional area distribution.
