TYUT and China Energy’s Shanxi Branch Held University-Enterprise Cooperation Discussing Meeting

On the afternoon of Jan. 16th, the university-enterprise cooperation discussing meeting between TYUT and China Energy was held in Room 316 of the main building in Yingxi Campus. Party secretary of TYUT Wu Yucheng with other leaders of relevant units met with Zhao Jianjun, the manager of China Energy’s Shanxi branch, deputy chief engineer Wei Yongbo and general management secretary Zhao Liang.

Mr. Wu said that TYUT, rooted in Shanxi, takes the transformative comprehensive reform and innovative driving of Shanxi as the main direction and actively copes with the challenge of energy revolution. Cooperating with China Energy in technology and talents will contribute to solving the problem that Shanxi faces in clean and efficient utilization of energy and environmental protection, and promoting the innovation and application of clean energy technologies.

China Energy ranks first in energy industry of China with respect to cleaning up traditional energy and scaling up clean energy. Mr. Zhao said that China Energy Shanxi Branch is responsible for coordination and communication with local enterprises to promote university-enterprise cooperation in technologies and talents.


Directors from Office of Academic Research, Shanxi Key Lab of Coal Science and Technology, College of Materials Science and Engineering,  College of Mining, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, College of Environment Science and Engineering and College of Electrical and Power Engineering respectively introduced their development history, majors, platform teams, research directions and research achievements.


Before the meeting, Mr. Zhao and his delegation visited Shanxi Key Lab of Coal Science and Technology and made an investigation on the project of collaborative innovation center for clean and efficient utilization of coal and climate change in Taiyuan sub-center.
