On the morning of December 10th, Vaclav Snasel, president of the Technical University of Ostrava (TUO) of Czech Republic and his delegation came to visit TYUT. President Huang Qingxue met the guests and held a discussion in Yingxi campus.
Huang welcomed Mr. Snasel and his delegation. He briefly introduced the history, advantageous subjects and scientific research of TYUT, and also recalled the pleasant visit he had made to TUO in 2016. He pointed that the cooperation with TUO would further promote the industrial structure adjustment and better serve the development of Shanxi Province. He hoped that the two sides could deepen and broaden their cooperation in joint talent cultivation and scientific research.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Mr. Snasel affirmed the cooperation foundation for the two universities and proposed specific cooperation direction. He hoped that the two sides can carry out scientific research cooperation and student exchange program in the areas of common interest, refine cooperation plans and carry out substantive cooperation as soon as possible with fruitful results.
After the meeting, Mr. Snasel and his delegation also visited the Metallic Composite Material Forming Laboratory in TYUT.
