July 1st marks the 100th birthday of the CPC, TYUT held a grand and solemn flag-raising ceremony in Mingxiang campus.
The flag-raising ceremony officially began at 7:00. The guard of honor, neatly dressed, escorted the flag and marched steps to the flagpole. Accompanied by the majestic national anthem, the Five Star Red Flag rose up. All teachers and students saluted and sang the national anthem, showing their infinite love and blessings for the motherland and their hope for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
"Today, the great party has led us through a hundred years of glory, and the great achievements will be kept in history..." Under the national flag, the student representative gave a speech to express his infinite loyalty and love to the CPC and great motherland, showing the firm belief of “staying true to the Party’s founding mission” and the determination of building on past successes to further advance our cause.
On this glory centenary, the teachers and students of our school said that today's great party has embarked on the journey of a new century. They will closely unite around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and forge to serve the transformation and development of Shanxi, striving to build a comprehensive, research-oriented, high-level and first-class university.
