The 13th China Chongqing Hi-Tech Fair (CCHTF) was held in Nanping in Chongqing from June the 21st to June the 24th. The Office of Academic Research at Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) organized teachers and students from the College of Materials Science and Engineering, the College of Textile Engineering, and the Key Laboratory of Advanced Transducers and Intelligent Control Systems to take part in the exhibition. TYUT’s independent research products were displayed.
The theme of the 13th CCHTF was“military-civilian integration and innovative development”, aiming to promote the application of civil-military dual-use technology and industrial cooperation in China and abroad. This fair encompassed an area of 45.000 square meters and was attended by 216 domestic and international delegations, 1012 businesses and government agencies, and 2037 projects, including 1837 domestic projects and 200 overseas projects.
On behalf of all universities in Shanxi, TYUT demonstrated its research results in fields including material synthesis and optoelectronic sensors, two fields in which TYUT influence is growing. Through detailed communication with exhibitors and experts, and further understanding of industrial demands and development trends, TYUT hopes to clarify the market direction for future research and to promote university-business cooperation.
