On 23rdMarch, the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) and Yangquan Coal Industry (YQCI) was held in the conference room on the sixth floor of the Yifu Building. Both parties agreed to utilise their individual strengths to promote comprehensive cooperation in talent training and scientific research in fields including coal mining, and chemical engineering technology and innovation.
At the ceremony, the chairman of Yangquan Coal Industry said that TYUT possessed a profound basis for scientific research and advancement, providing talent and intellectual support for the transformative development of Shanxi province. He added that he believed the leaders of TYUT are open-minded, cooperative and innovative and noted that the long-standing cooperation between TYUT and YQCI has already brought many achievements.
Wu Yuchen, TYUT's communist party secretary extended his gratitude to YQCI for their long-term support. He said that the cooperation between both sides is a prime example of the national innovative development strategy and the transformative development of Shanxi province.
The president of TYUT, Huang Qingxue, stated his belief that this ongoing strategic cooperation will contribute considerably to the training of new talent, technological innovation, and a transformational development of the service industries, in addition to establishing TYUT as a “first-rate” university. He said that the agreement will enable the realisation of the three strategic aims of transformative and comprehensive reform, energy revolution, and opening and reforming.
