President Zhang Haoxing of Dankook University visits TYUT

Zhang Haoxing, president of Dankook University in Korea, visited TYUT on March 19. Party secretary Wu Yucheng, president Huang Qingxue and vice-president Liu Runxiang met with the guests at the main administrative building in Yingxi campus. The two sides exchanged views on promoting cooperation between the two universities.

Mr. Wu Yucheng welcomed Mr. Zhang Haoxing and his delegation’s visit, and briefly introduced the development history, faculty, characteristic disciplines, scientific research achievements of TYUT and the current exchanges and cooperation with South Korean universities. The guests also watched TYUT promotional videos.

Mr. Huang Qingxue reviewed the history of cooperation between TYUT and Dankook University, and gave recognition to the history, discipline construction and characteristics of Dankook University. Also, he introduced the recent development of TYUT and its achievements in the implementation of the global strategy. It is hoped that the two sides can continue to promote cooperation and achieve complementary advantages.

Mr. Zhang introduced the development of Dankook university, and its exchange and cooperation with Chinese universities. He hoped that the two sides could have more exchanges and cooperation in more aspects and at more levels. He also invited the TYUT’s leaders and the representatives of teachers and students in related fields to participate in the exchange and discussion activities organized by the university.

The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on such topics as talent training, teacher exchanges, sports and culture, etc., and expressed their hope and confidence in further promoting China-Korea educational exchanges.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the history museum of TYUT, the College of Textile Engineering, College of Art and College of Physical Education.
