The 8th meeting of the 11th Council of China Society of Electrical Engineering(CSEE) and the 2022 working meeting were held in Beijing. At the meeting, a ceremony was held to award the membership certificate that was issued to the elected members of CSEE in 2021. Prof. Sun Hongbin was named a 2021 fellow of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering.
Sun Hongbin, deputy secretary of the CPC Taiyuan University of Technology Committee and vice president of TYUT,director of Energy Management and Control Research Center at Tsinghua University, head of Smart Grid Energy Management Research Group, and the deputy director of the Academic Affair Office, Tsinghua University, is Mainly engaged in research work in smart grid, energy Internet and other fields. In 2008, he received the Second-Class Prize of China National Technology Innovation Award. In 2010, he received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. In 2012, he was elected as a Fellow of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). In 2013, he was elected as National Outstanding Middle-aged Expert, and as to the National Talents Engineering.
The Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering(CSEE,Chinese) is a professional organization for electrical engineers in China. CSEE fellow is the highest professional distinction in the society.
