On the evening of June 16, the 2025 graduation ceremony of Taiyuan University of Technology was grandly held at the square in front of the library on Mingxiang Campus. University leadership, alumni representatives, and all graduates gathered together to witness this significant moment.
At the ceremony, university leaders and academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering presented awards to outstanding graduates representatives of the Class of 2025. The graduate representatives were turned the tassels and conferred their degrees by the university leadership. On behalf of the university, President Sun Hongbin extended warm congratulations to all graduates, wishing them a bright future and encouraging them to achieve remarkable accomplishments across the broad horizons of life, living up to their country, the era, their alma mater, and themselves.
Following the ceremony, a graduation gala themed Pursuing Dreams on a New Journey was spectacularly held on the Yingxi Campus. The gala featured a special drone performance, where dazzling lights illuminated the night sky, offering graduates a magnificent audio-visual spectacle. The ceremony and gala were livestreamed simultaneously on WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Kuaishou, bridging both campuses and enabling more faculty, students, and alumni to share this unforgettable moment.
To create a warm, grateful, and inspiring graduation atmosphere, TYUT meticulously organized a series of graduation season activities: On June 12, a symposium was held for the Class of 2025 graduates to listen to their voices and celebrate the bond between teachers and graduates. Green Graduation flea markets, spontaneously organized by graduates, were bustling on Mingxiang and Yingxi campuses, promoting the spirit of eco-consciousness and sharing. From June 16 to 17, TYUT Graduation Season Free Meals were offered at cafeterias across all campuses by TYUT’s logistics department, bidding farewell to graduates with heartfelt gestures.
Taiyuan University of Technology has always adhered to the student-centered approach, designing a meaningful growth ceremony for the Class of 2025.
