​A Report on the 2026 SPMU-TYUT Faculty and Student Study Tour

During the China‑Russia Year of Education, educational exchanges between the two countries flourished. The 14‑day “Advanced Study Program on Green and Low‑Carbon Energy Development and Capacity Building for Scientific and Technological Innovation”, hosted by Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) for faculty members and students from Saint Petersburg Mining University (SPMU), has come to a successful conclusion.

A Report on the 2026 ECU‑TYUT Faculty and Student Exchange Program

To deepen exchange and cooperation between Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT) and Egyptian Chinese University (ECU), 21 faculty and students from ECU crossed mountains and seas in the summer of 2026 to complete a 21-day in-depth study program in Shanxi.

Third National Championship Secured! TYUT Claims the CUBAL Crown

On the evening of July 12, the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center echoed with cheers and roars as the Men’s National Final of the 28th China University Basketball Association League (CUBAL) tipped off. Our men’s basketball team once again locked horns with its long-time rival, Tsinghua University. After four hard-fought quarters, the whole team united as one and fought to the very end, defeating its formidable opponent 71-65. They lifted the national championship trophy again after 14 years, securing the third title in the program’s history and writing a new chapter in basketball for Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT)!

TYUT Leadership Leads Delegation to Belarus

At the invitation of Professor Viktor Kochin, Vice Rector of Belarusian State University (BSU), a delegation led by Zhan Xiaohong, Vice President for Academic Affairs of TYUT, visited Belarus from June 15 to 18 for cooperative exchanges. The delegation was accompanied by the director of the College of International Education and Exchange. The visit aimed to leverage the platform of the China-Belarus University Alliance to align more closely with the needs of Sino-Belarusian industry-academia-research cooperation, and to comprehensively deepen pragmatic collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific innovation, and cooperative education.
