From July 15th to 24th, Huang Qingxue, president of Taiyuan University of Technology (TYUT), paid a visit to University of Auckland, University of Wollongong, University of Western Australia and Hirosaki University on invitation.
Over the past years, the four universities above have cooperated with TYUT’s College of Foreign Language, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Mining Engineering, College of Environmental Science and Engineering and College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in talents cultivation, research, teachers’ visiting and students’ exchange.
During the visit, Mr. Huang introduced TYUT’s achievements, especially that TYUT has been selected as one of the “double first-rate” universities, teaching staff construction has reached a new stage, engineering education recognition ranks top in China, and great performance has been made in basketball and football matches. He also had active communication for wide, deep and new cooperation to promote the internationalization of our university.
On July 16th, Huang Qingxue, president of TYUT, visited University of Auckland.
Mr. Huang visited University of Western Australia and signed a contract with the vice-president Simon Biggs.
Mr. Huang visited University of Wollongong and communicated with president Paul Wellings.
Mr. Huang visited Hirosaki University.
This visit to 7 universities lasted for 10 days and covered 30,000 kilometers, enhancing the relationship between TYUT and these universities and its popularity, which marks a significant event of the “double first-rate” establishment of TYUT.
