On April 1st, the provincial championships of Microsoft's "Innovation Cup", an innovation and entrepreneurship competition for university students , was held in Qingchuang Innovation Base in Taiyuan. Over one hundred innovation teams from universities all over Shanxi took part, with ten teams standing out and competing in the finals.
The gold medal was finally won by the app ‘University Housekeeper’, developed by the team ‘Youth Helper’ (Lebang) from the college of software and the college of economics and management at TYUT. The champions were awarded 10,000 RMB and development software worth 100,000 RMB. ‘Youth Helper’ will go on to represent Shanxi province at the national innovation competition.
Since its foundation, the “Innovation Cup” has held 15 sessions in over 190 countries and regions, providing opportunities for innovation, cooperation and exchange for 2 million students. This is the first time that the “Innovation Cup” was held in Shanxi province.
