May 6, 2022 marks the 120th anniversary of TYUT. With the aim of inheriting glorious tradition, presenting the great progress and creating a strong atmosphere with humanities, academics and culture, TYUT will release a series of activities to celebrate its 120th birthday.
In order to have a distinct and unified visual image during the celebration, TYUT solicits designs for logo, mascot and slogan.The relevant notices are now announced as follows:

2. Applicants
The whole staff and student in TYUT, alumni from across the globe, and people from all sectors of society are welcomed to participate.
3. Deadline
The soliciting work will last from now till September 26, 2021.
4. Design requirements
A. Logo for TYUT’s 120th Anniversary
（1）As the memorable symbol of TYUT 120th anniversary, it should fully reflect the characteristics of TYUT, highlight the spiritual context accumulated in the course of running the school, and present the important contribution and historical position of the century-old unniversity in serving Shanxi and regional economic development.
(2) Mainly used for news reports, theme websites(web pages), souvenirs, cultural publicity materials, campus environment layout, facilities, certificates, invitations, and admission ticktes,etc. during the celebration. It should be easy to identify, well-conceived, innovative, unified in form and spitir, harmonious in colour, and have a strong visual impact. The work must be original by the applicant and meet the other requirements mentioned in the "submission requirements".
(3) Fill in the 《太原理工大学120周年校庆logo征集报名表》(see attachment 1). The design plan must contain a paper version of A4 size color draft (indicating CMYK color value) and electronic version (vector format, the file is less than 5M or JPG Format and high-quality artwork, the file is less than 3M)
B. mascot for TYUT’s 120th Anniversary
(1) The mascot should be with beautiful and vivid appearance, harmonious color matching, and novel andunique and concept. It can be a single image or a group of images. The name of the mascot should be concise, appealing and catchy. The mascot design should be practical, easy for media communication, image recreation.
(2) Fill in the 《太原理工大学120周年校庆吉祥物征集报名表》 (see attachment 2). The design plan must contain a paper version of A4 size with the front, back and sides of mascot color draft (indicating CMYK color value) and electronic version (Vector format, the file is less than 5M or JPG format high-quality artwork, the file is less than 3M)
C. slogan for TYUT’s 120th Anniversary
(1) The slogan should be invigorating, inspiring, concise,easy to remember and with a clear theme and profound meaning.
(2) Fill in the 《太原理工大学120周年校庆宣传标语口号征集报名表》 (see attachment 3)
