International students celebrate New Year in Shanxi gala

An international student New Year's gala was held on Friday evening in Jinzhong, Shanxi province, bringing together more than 200 students from 16 countries and regions to perform music, dance and martial arts ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival.

Conference for the Establishment of the International Students Education Alliance in Shanxi Held at TYUT

To further integrate international student education resources within Shanxi province, consolidate collaborative efforts in nurturing talents, and deepen the development of the Study in Shanxi brand, the International Students Education Alliance in Shanxi was established at TYUT on November 12th. Li Jinbi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of Shanxi Provincial Education Department, and Shen Xingquan, Secretary of TYUT Party Committee, attended the conference and delivered speeches. The conference also brought together deputy leaders and heads of departments responsible for international students from 15 universities across the province authorized to enroll international students.

On June 26, Gomel State University of Belarus, the University of Wollongong of Australia, and the University of Skövde of Sweden visited TYUT to discuss topics such as joint talent cultivation, scientific research collaboration, and participation in international projects. TYUT Officially Joining the University of the Arctic (UArctic), Embarking on a New Journey of International Cooperation in Polar Research

From June 6 to June 9, the UArctic Assembly was held in Inari, Finland. After deliberation and voting by the Assembly, TYUT was successfully admitted to UArctic with a high approval rate of 96.34%, becoming one of the 21 new members approved at this year’s Assembly.
